We are very proud of our the high quality care that our care team gives to our residents every day. Every member of staff is highly qualified and experienced in giving various types of care and assisting with different medical conditions. Please arrange a viewing to meet our team and see the beautiful surrounds we are fortunate enough to be situated in.
I have worked in the care sector for nearly ten years following a career in the NHS as a nursing sister, midwife and Nurse Specialist in oncology; and I have thoroughly enjoyed this change in direction. My own philosophy is to support the individual as I would wish to be supported, to try and stand in someone’s shoes and recognise their rights to be treated with kindness, dignity and as an individual. I love managing Wren Park with its strong team of committed staff who strive to do their best for our residents. I am very much looking forward to the future as Wren Park develops in the community and continues to provide high-quality person-centred care.

I qualified as a nurse in 1979. Previous to this I was a pre-nurse, so many, many years experience 41 years to be precise! During my career I specialised in Orthopaedics, working with young adolescences with scoliosis at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, working in A&E, on Orthopaedic wards and in the private sector.
I came to work at Wren Park in 1992 and was soon promoted to Deputy Manager. Wren Park has always been my passion. I have always prided myself in supporting the manager in making Wren Park a true home for our residents. A place where Residents and their families feel comfortable and confident, and where we do our best to ensure safety, comfort and homeliness, within the care we deliver, as our priority.Being here for as long as I have, it makes me very proud knowing so many of our Residents are relatives of people who I have looked after years before. Word of mouth and reputation is reassuring that we are doing a good job.
