Paul Roberts – singer and trumpet player is very popular with the residents at Taymer. He said it was so good to visit again and spoke fondly of the times he used to perform when his late mother Nancy was a resident here. The residents thoroughly enjoyed watching the new ventriloquist act named Al (after the late singer Al Johnson) singing some old ballads.
Albert (Albie) Paul’s grandson first visited the home when he was a few weeks old. Now he is 22 months old and is in partnership with his granddad on the trumpet. It looks as if he will be a fine entertainer as he was brimming with confidence when he was performing. He certainly has a very bright future ahead of him.
Albie had not forgotten where the tropical fish were kept -as you can see from his photo he was very happy to see them again.
