There were delighted responses from our residents and one or two raised eyebrows and smiles as Delilah, the Shetland pony walked towards our residents on the carpet (a surreal scene!). One lady sweetly asked if Delilah was “house-trained”. Katie, Delilah’s owner, guided her to each resident for a stroke and a pat. Delilah was very gentle with an innate sensitivity and calmness. It is always a pleasure to host Katie and her Pat Me Ponies, they bring so much joy to all! Until the next equine visit… (26/07/17)
