Our Care
At Taymer, the comfort and well-being of our resident is of
paramount importance and we pride ourselves, that we achieve
this, without sacrificing the dignity of the individual.
The
hairdresser and chiropodist visit on a regular basis. The
local doctor attends weekly. Dental, ophthalmic and
physiotherapy needs are taken care of as and when required.
The local vicar of also visits regularly and we can arrange
for clergy of other denominations to visit.
We encourage families and the community to participate as
much as possible. In addition to our monthly residents and
relatives meetings when we discuss the day to day running of
the Home, we hold regular events such as Summer Fetes and
Christmas Parties. These events are supplemented by
excursions for the residents from time to time.
Families and visitors are always welcomed (at any time of
the day), and can be entertained in the resident’s room or
in one of the Lounges. Visitors are served complementary
non-alcoholic drinks, and may join for meals with prior
notice.
