Welcome to Dapplemere - Nursing Home

Set in an acre of grounds on the outskirts of Chorleywood, Dapplemere provides a quiet, peaceful and caring Home to our 22 nursing residents.

Originally converted to a residential home in the 1980’s, Dapplemere has been substantially upgraded to provide higher quality bedrooms and shared facilities. The bedrooms are located on two floors and are individually designed and furnished to a high standard in keeping with the character of the house. All rooms have personalized amenities and safety devices such as a television point, facilities for private telephone, nurse call, fire detection and emergency lighting systems.

We pride ourselves on the personal touch and being close to those in our care. In line with best modern practice, each resident has their own named nurse, but above and beyond this, it is reassuring to be in a place where everyone knows each others name. To this end, a true community exists within Dapplemere, often best demonstrated at one of our social events, when we are continuously surprised by the number of visitors.

Dapplemere employs a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated team of staff who work closely with residents to ensure a continuously high standard of person-centred care. The focus is on individual needs with an emphasis on choice. We believe that residents respond positively to our friendly approach and benefit greatly from the secure and happy environment that prevails.
