Tithe Farm was started in 1984 with a vision to provide high quality care to the elderly.

Over the years, Pressbeau Ltd has owned and operated in several care homes using the same philosophy and vision.

This Victorian Manor House is situated in 3 acres of its own quiet and tranquil grounds in the countryside, with residents able to enjoy watching a variety of wildlife in the gardens.

Head chef, Shaun Readman has beaten carer's all over the country to become the 'Yours Caring Person of the Year'. But Shaun isn't just a chef, he's "a carer in a million", according to 'Yours' reader Diane Surmon, who nominated him. 'Shaun is amazing, he definitely goes the extra mile to make residents' lives enjoyable," says Diane, who lives in Barnstaple Devon.

Shaun may be the head chef at Taymer Nursing Home, Silsoe, Bedfordshire, but, as all the residents know, he does much more than the cooking.
